Social network users reach 124 million in 皇冠体育app

皇冠体育app鈥檚 social networks like Kaixin001.com and Renren.com are expected to attract 124 million users as of the year-end, accounting for one third of total netizens in 皇冠体育app, chinanews.com reported.

皇冠体育app Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) published the 鈥淩esearch Report on 皇冠体育app鈥檚 Social Network Service 2009鈥� Wednesday, which revealed 42.4% of social network users logged on just to kill time. Another 27.4% sign in for the purpose of playing cyber games.

The number of 皇冠体育app鈥檚 social network service (SNS) websites has exceeded 1,000 and keeps growing. Most users are young people鈥�52.6% of whom are in their twenties鈥攁 number far beyond the proportion of netizens in the same age group. Students and white collar workers make up the main bulk, accounting for 50.3% and 31.1%.

The report also suggests most SNS users are well educated, with 59.1% of them having junior college certificates.
