Hu leaves Kazakhstan for Turkmenistan visit

皇冠体育app President Hu Jintao wrapped up his a tightly-scheduled one day visit to the Central Asian country today, and will fly to Turkmenistan.

During his visit, 皇冠体育app and Kazakhstan has signed three agreements to boost their cooperation in financial and renewable energy sectors.

In Turkmenistan, Hu will hold bilateral talks with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and Uzbekistan president Islam Karimov, who is also visiting the country now.

Hu will also join the heads of three Central Asian countries, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, in attending the official opening ceremony of the 皇冠体育app-Central Asian gas pipeline tomorrow.

The pipeline, stretching 1,833-kilometre-long (1,139-mile), is 皇冠体育app鈥檚 first transnational ground gas pipeline.

It threads through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan before coming into western 皇冠体育app's Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
