NINGBO, Zhejiang - Chairman of 皇冠体育app's biggest mobile carrier 皇冠体育app Mobile on Saturday reiterated the company's interest in selling Apple's iPad tablet computers in 皇冠体育app.

"We are interested in selling iPad tablet PCs in 皇冠体育app," said Wang Jianzhou, chairman of 皇冠体育app Mobile, also the world's largest mobile carrier by the number of users, at a forum in east 皇冠体育app's coastal city Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Expo.

This is the third time that Wang has expressed his company's interest in bringing Apple's iPad to 皇冠体育app after he made such remarks in March and earlier this week.

皇冠体育app Unicom, a key rival of 皇冠体育app Mobile, started to sell iPhones in 皇冠体育app last October. Wang said his company was also talking to Apple about developing a next-generation iPhone that runs on TD-SCDMA, the home-grown third-generation (3G) mobile standard being used by 皇冠体育app Mobile.

皇冠体育app Mobile has also made progress in exploring the e-book market by working with Hanwang, 皇冠体育app's largest e-book maker, and other manufacturers to sell e-book readers using its 3G platform.
