BEIJING - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will attend Iranian National Pavilion Day at the Shanghai World Expo on June 11, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang Tuesday at a regular news briefing.

During his stay in 皇冠体育app, Ahmadinejad would only participate in activities related to the Shanghai World Expo, Qin said.

Responding to a question on the Iranian nuclear issue, Qin reaffirmed that 皇冠体育app always adhered to the dual-track strategy for resolving the issue, and always insisted that dialogue and negotiations should be the best way to resolve the issue.

皇冠体育app hoped Iran would strengthen cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to resolve the issue, Qin said.

He also called on the parties concerned to promote the proper settlement of the Iranian nuclear issue through dialogue, negotiations and diplomatic efforts.
