Heavy rains to continue in South 皇冠体育app

BEIJING - Sarika, this year's third tropical storm, weakened to tropical low pressure after landing in south 皇冠体育app early Saturday. Heavy rains resulting from the storm will continue, the country's meteorological agency said on Saturday.

The National Meteorological Center said it has canceled its previous typhoon warning as Sarika is expected to lose power further.

High winds are predicted to hit parts of the South 皇冠体育app Sea, the Taiwan Strait and coastal areas in South 皇冠体育app's Guangdong?province and eastern Fujian province over the next 24 hours, the center said.

Torrential rains are ?expected in parts of Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, according to the center.
