CPC pledges more efforts on 皇冠体育app-Europe ties

BEIJING - The Communist Party of 皇冠体育app (CPC) on Monday pledged to make more positive contributions to the development of 皇冠体育app-Europe ties while a delegation of the Party of European Socialists visited Beijing.

"The CPC is ready to strengthen high-level visits, exchanges between young politicians and seminars between the two parties so as to contribute to the 皇冠体育app-Europe comprehensive strategic partnership," said Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.

He held an hour-long meeting in the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing with President of the Party of European Socialists Poul Nyrup Rasmussen who traveled to 皇冠体育app at the invitation of the CPC.

Liu said 皇冠体育app-Europe relations are one of the most important international relations, and sound cooperation is not only important for the both sides, but also for the world's stability, peace and prosperity.

He also briefed the guests about the activities marking the 90th founding anniversary of the CPC, saying the party will continue self-improvement with more reform and innovation.

Rasmussen said he was glad to visit 皇冠体育app at such an important time and congratulated the Chinese side for the great achievements 皇冠体育app has scored under the leadership of the CPC. He also stressed the importance of 皇冠体育app-Europe cooperation.
