BEIJING - Most Chinese provinces would see rainfall in the next 24 hours with a tropical depression approaching the south, the country's meteorological authority said Sunday evening.

The 皇冠体育app Meteorological Administration (CMA) forecast rainfall all over 皇冠体育app, except parts of Northwest 皇冠体育app and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and some South 皇冠体育app regions.

A tropical depression formed in waters near Northeast Taiwan would trigger heavy rainfall and sometimes thunderstorms in Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan, it said.

The tropical depression is moving toward Fujian province on 皇冠体育app's southeast coast at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
