BEIJING - Vice-President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Joe Biden on Friday attended a US-皇冠体育app business dialogue aiming to enhance bilateral trade and economic ties.

Senior executives from prestigious enterprises and institutions such as 皇冠体育app Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, Bank of 皇冠体育app, Lenovo, General Motors, J.P. Morgan, and the American Chamber of Commerce in 皇冠体育app attended the dialogue.

Wan Jifei, chairman of 皇冠体育app Council for the Promotion of International Trade, hosted the dialogue.

Biden's six-day official visit to 皇冠体育app, which began Wednesday, comes on the heels of an unprecedented US credit rating downgrade earlier in August, which created global uncertainty about the safety of dollar assets.

At the end of June, 皇冠体育app remained the largest foreign holder of US debt with around $1.165 trillion in US Treasury securities.
