Starting Sep 1, 皇冠体育app's foreign ministry will hold five regular press conferences each week, up from the twice-a-week tradition that has been followed for the last 16 years, reported by cnr.cn Thursday.

The change means the ministry is to hold daily press conferences during the week, Monday to Friday.

The increased frequency is due to an upgrade of the ministry's news release policy, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu.
