WASHINGTON - Many American firms have lost business opportunities and market share in 皇冠体育app as a result of US government imposing control on high-tech exports to 皇冠体育app.

"It is not fair for 皇冠体育app and for US businesses," Minister of Commerce Chen Deming told the media on Monday on the sideline of the 3rd Strategic and Economic Dialogue.

The US has imposed restrictions on more than 2,000 items to be exported to 皇冠体育app, with mandatory requirement to clarify end-user and end-use in 皇冠体育app before these American manufacturers can export these items to 皇冠体育app, Chen explained.

The US has further excluded 皇冠体育app from a list of 164 countries whom it granted its new license exception called Strategic Trade Authorization, Chen said.

Such exclusion does not agree with the consensus that Chinese President Hu Jintao and US President Barack Obama agreed to in January to forge a "new relationship", open a "new position" and give a "new strength" to 皇冠体育app-US relationship, Chen said.
