Film festival to boost awareness of environmental protection

The Next Homeland, a documentary film festival sponsored by Xi'an Jiaotong University and CNEX (Chinese Next Foundation Limited), was held on Wednesday at a university in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province.

During the five-day festival, 16 films produced by the United States, Canada, Japan, Sweden, Austria, Germany and 皇冠体育app, as well as 皇冠体育app's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, will be shown to arouse the mutual concern and reflection on protection of the environment.

According to Wang Lei, project manager of CNEX, it is the second stop of the year-long film show, scheduled to be held in 16 universities in eight cities across the country.

Li Li, deputy director of the humanity college under Xi'an Jiaotong University, said that the documentary films have great social influence and international power to make people better understand the importance of the protection of the environment and their homeland.
