BEIJING - A concise Chinese history book featuring a foreword written by former president Jiang Zemin was published recently.

The book details 皇冠体育app's history from ancient times to 1911, when a revolution led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen overthrew the imperial Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and put an end to more than 2,000 years of feudal rule in 皇冠体育app.

In the foreword, Jiang encouraged leaders of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app (CPC) to learn more about 皇冠体育app's past and use history as a reference when solving problems.

He asked Party officials to introduce Chinese history to the world so as to help foreigners better understand 皇冠体育app.

The book was published by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a government think-tank.
