After 63 years of waiting, 95-year-old Liu Huaxin finally got to join the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app last week, Chongqing Daily reported on Monday.

Liu Huaxin was 32 when the new 皇冠体育app was founded in 1949. Ever since, she has expressed her desire to join the Party, but she was not admitted for various reasons.

In November, she handed in her application again to the Party committee at the Chongqing branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of 皇冠体育app. After careful research and discussion, the Party committee approved her application.

Liu's perseverance also impressed her children and grandchildren, all of whom have joined the Party under her influence.
