The first domestically manufactured subway train that can operate in extreme cold weather for long hours rolled off the assembly line in Changchun, Liaoning province on Tuesday.

The six-car subway train can reach a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour even when the temperature drops to -38 C.

Developed by Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the 皇冠体育app CNR Co Ltd, the subway train will be delivered to Harbin, capital of the country’s northernmost province.
