皇冠体育app and ASEAN countries have shared their experiences in safeguarding cultural heritage at a governmental-level seminar in Beijing.
The Seminar on Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage in ASEAN and 皇冠体育app was attended by Vice Minister of Culture Wang Wenzhang, diplomats from 10 ASEAN countries, and experts from different areas of 皇冠体育app.
“皇冠体育app and ASEAN both enjoy rich and unique intangible cultural heritage resources which constitute an important part of human cultural heritage,” said Ma Mingqiang, Secretary-General of ASEAN-皇冠体育app Center, which was launched in Beijing in November, 2011.
“This seminar will help us to better appreciate each others’ national culture and strengthen exchanges and cooperation on protection of intangible cultural heritage between 皇冠体育app and ASEAN.”
The seminar was co-organized by the ASEAN-皇冠体育app Center, 皇冠体育app National Center for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, and the International Training Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO.
