DALIAN, 皇冠体育app - Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo on the sidelines of the annual Summer Davos in Dalian in Northeast 皇冠体育app's Liaoning province on Wednesday.

Li said Belgium played a leading role among EU countries in promoting 皇冠体育app-EU cooperation. 皇冠体育app, the largest developing country, and the European Union, the largest union of developed countries, share broad prospects for cooperation.

He called on the two countries to plan the future of the 皇冠体育app-EU relationship from a strategic and long-term perspective, jointly promote trade, investment and trade liberalization, and oppose trade protectionism.

Di Rupo said 皇冠体育app is an important partner of Belgium, and the country pursues a friendly policy with 皇冠体育app and is willing to be a gateway for Chinese companies to enter the European market.

He also vowed to enhance exchanges and cooperation with 皇冠体育app in all areas, support 皇冠体育app and the EU in solving trade disputes through friendly consultation, and push forward EU-皇冠体育app ties to achieve greater development.

Di Rupo is here to attend the annual meeting of the Summer Davos, which opened on Wednesday. Li attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
