Large Medium SmallBEIJING - Ji Jianye, mayor of Nanjing, Capital of east 皇冠体育app's Jiangsu province, has been removed from his post for suspected serious disciplinary violations, Xinhua learned from authorities on Saturday.
The decision was made by the Organization Department of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app (CPC) Central Committee.
Ji was also deputy secretary of the Nanjing municipal committee of the CPC.
On Thursday, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection revealed that Ji was under investigation.
