BEIJING - A deputy to the National People's Congress (NPC), 皇冠体育app's legislature, died of a heart attack in Beijing on Wednesday morning during the ongoing NPC annual session, sources said.

The legislator, Shao Zhanwei, is also mayor of Hangzhou, capital of East 皇冠体育app's Zhejiang province.

Shao, born in February 1956, became mayor of Hangzhou in February 2011, according to the official website of Hangzhou government.
