BEIJING - Li Chongxi, top political adviser in Southwest 皇冠体育app's Sichuan province, has been removed from his post for suspected severe violations of discipline, the Party's organization department said Thursday.

Li had served as chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Authorities are investigating into his case according to the procedure, said a statement of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app Central Committee.
