Chongqing senior legislator probed for discipline violation

BEIJING -?Tan Xiwei, a legislator in Southwest 皇冠体育app's Chongqing municipality, is being investigated for suspected serious violation of discipline and laws, the discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app (CPC) said Saturday.
Tan is the deputy director of Chongqing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in a statement on its website.
No further details were provided.
