Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway, from Datong city in North 皇冠体育app's Shanxi province to Qinhuangdao city in North 皇冠体育app's Hebei province, transports coal from west to east 皇冠体育app with a total length of 653 kilometers.
The railway, open to passengers since December, 1992, is the country's first heavy haulage railway only for transporting coal.
