Two provinces hit GDP highs

Liaoning and Sichuan provinces look set to join the trillionaire club, with gross domestic products (GDP) of more than 1 trillion yuan ($134 billion) this year.
The provinces will join seven other members, from the country's 31 provinces, to wear the mantle.
Liaoning and Sichuan are beneficiaries of the nation's strong economic growth, former statistics minister Li Deshui, said.
