HEFEI: Doctors are fighting to save the life of a two-year-old boy who sustained serious head injuries in a factory explosion that left 16 dead in east 皇冠体育app's Anhui province on Sunday.

Li Zhenwei is in "critical condition", relying on a respirator in the affiliated hospital of Bongbu Medical College in Chuzhou city, Wu Qiongyu, deputy head of the Anhui provincial health department, said yesterday.

The boy's grandfather, who lived with him in a dormitory residence, died in the blast.
