BEIJING - Nearly 70 percent of consumers in 皇冠体育app feel that the use of pirated software is not as safe as genuine software, according to a Microsoft report on consumer attitudes towards pirated programs.

Released on Wednesday, the report further reveals that 45.9 percent of pirated Windows software contains trojans, viruses or malicious software.

From Sept 22 to Oct 5, Microsoft conducted a survey on software piracy in 20 countries with more than 38,000 consumers.
