The representative of a company in Zhongguancun has proposed founding a new working group within the World Trade Organization to formulate standards on technology and trade.
Earlier this month, Luo Feng, CEO of high-tech company IZP Technologies, told the WTO public forum in Geneva that "technology innovation fosters trade".
Transnational trade needs to keep up with the rapid evolution of boundless technological innovation, he added.
