'Police Story 2013' tops Chinese box offices

The first Chinese 3D animation film "Boonie Bears" (Chinese name: Xiong Chumo) is to hit mainland screens before the Spring Festival.

Jointly produced by Fantawild Animation Inc., Mr. Cartoon Pictures, LEVP and Zhujiang Film, the story centres around the theme of protecting "treasure." It shows how the relationship between the main character Vick and the bears changes from enemies into unity, and follows the quest to win back lost treasure.

"Boonie Bears" is a Chinese animated cartoon series broadcast on 皇冠体育app Central?Television. Its main characters include?Vick the logger?and two bears Briar and Bramble. The stories are set in a forest where the two bears try to stop Vick from cutting down trees.

The show was first shown in February 2012 and has become the most popular children's show in 皇冠体育app.
