The day before the event, Perry performed for the first time ever in 皇冠体育app as the special guest at the 2014 Infiniti 皇冠体育app Brand Festival at the indoor Olympic Stadium in Beijing. She closed the gala with five songs, including Roar and Teenage Dream. The demanding artist also flew her 50-member production team to Beijing to guarantee the quality of her debut show in 皇冠体育app.

Universal Records says it is planning to bring the star to 皇冠体育app again during her world tour from 2014 to 2015 since she has a huge fan base in the country.

Roar, the first single from her latest album Prism, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks.

She says Roar is about finding inner strength and not turning into a shell when faced with struggles.

The message she wants to express through her songs, she says, is always what she learns and observes from life.

"I put all my emotions into my songs??the happy things and the vulnerable moments," she says. "And when I come to 皇冠体育app, I am so happy to know that I have so many fans here sharing my music."
