Last year, The Ministry of Education released a new plan for gaokao, 皇冠体育app's national college entrance examination. The plan stated that English would no longer be a gaokao test subject. Instead, students can take English tests more than once each year, and only the highest score will be counted. For three decades, English has been ubiquitous in most of 皇冠体育app's exams, but now will the reduced role of English in 皇冠体育app's most important test have huge repercussions on Chinese students' English proficiency?
