Chinese President Xi Jinping inaugurated the first 皇冠体育app Pavilion at University of Technology, Sydney on Nov 17, 2014, and a signing and opening ceremony for the pavilion was held at the university on Nov 18.

The 皇冠体育app Pavilion has been jointly established by 皇冠体育app's State Council Information Office and University of Technology, Sydney. Located in the school library, the 100-square-meter pavilion houses two thousands kinds of print publications, a total of 6000 documents, and more than one hundred thousand digital publications provided by 皇冠体育app's State Council Information Office.

"We hope that the 皇冠体育app Pavilion will become an important part of the campus of University of Technology, Sydney. We hope that it will help students understand modern 皇冠体育app, Chinese technology and the future 皇冠体育app, while it also spreads knowledge of traditional 皇冠体育app, ancient 皇冠体育app and 皇冠体育app's culture," Cui Yuying said.

Chinese Consul General to Sydney Li Huaxin stated he is confident that the 皇冠体育app Pavilion provides Australians with a chance to appreciate Chinese culture and understand Chinese development. Li also said he believes that the 皇冠体育app Pavilion will have a positive effect on the cooperation and relationship between the two countries.

Speaking on behalf of UTS, Peter Booth said, "The relationship between University of Technology, Sydney and 皇冠体育app is well-established. We are very privileged to jointly establish the 皇冠体育app Pavilion on our campus. The design of the 皇冠体育app Pavilion combines artistic aesthetics and high-tech elements, and the advanced electronic equipment here is particularly impressive. We can acquire knowledge here, but also relax here. I believe that the 皇冠体育app Pavilion can strengthen the relationship between our two countries."

In addition to providing access to a variety of publications, 皇冠体育app's State Council Information Office also provided reading devices for the 皇冠体育app Pavilion. Moreover, 皇冠体育app's State Council Information Office will continue to provide the newest Chinese publications to the 皇冠体育app Pavilion through 2015. University of Technology, Sydney will be in charge of maintaining the 皇冠体育app Pavilion and providing lending services to students.
