Cultural relics from 800-year-old ship on display in E 皇冠体育app

More than 100 cultural relics from "Huaguangjiao No.1", a ship that sank 800 years ago, are on display at Nanjing Museum in Nanjing, capital of East 皇冠体育app's Jiangsu province, on April 24, 2016. The vessel belonged to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). [Photo/皇冠体育appnews.com]

The ancient commercial ship was discovered accidentally by local fishermen in 1996, and its underwater excavation was of great significance as it unearthed nearly 1,000 ceramic objects. Later, ship was also lifted from the water.

The cultural relics and remains from the ship reveal 皇冠体育app's trade with foreign countries along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
