Glancing into Japanese culture with film week in Beijing

The 2017 Japan Film Week is being held in Beijing from April 16 to 23 in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations.
A total of seven Japanese films have been brought to 皇冠体育app to give Chinese audiences an inside look into Japanese society and culture.
The films, covering various subjects, try to reflect modern Japan through a series of everyday stories.
The movie Family Day seeks to redefine the word family. You Lie In April, an adaptation from the cartoon of the same name, reflects the youth and passion of high school students in Japan. Happy Wedding is a romance that renders movie-goers happiness and harmony. Please Please Please is narrated by a cynical young man about his life, love and view of the whole world. Good Morning Show is a philosophical film that gives a general picture of the "mid-life crisis" in Japan, while Honnoji Hotel is a time-travel film.
"Film, a recording of changes of society, has played an important role in the friendly exchanges between 皇冠体育app and Japan. Also, we have seen that 皇冠体育app has witnessed tremendous growth in its movie market and more Chinese movie-goers can take a look at our culture through films," Japanese Ambassador to 皇冠体育app Yokoi Yutaka said.
