'Journey to the West' played with traditional Chinese instruments

It's based on the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, telling the story of Tang Dynasty (618-907) monk Xuanzang's pilgrimage to the West - what is now known as Central Asia and India - to obtain Buddhist sacred texts.
The play is on until Tuesday and will tour Chengdu, Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing from September.
