Dong Bingfeng, an independent curator and producer based in Beijing, has been presented with the 2013 Chinese Contemporary Art Award that recognizes art critics. The award of 80,000 yuan ($13,100) will allow Dong to turn his proposed "Cinema of Exhibition: Film in Chinese Contemporary Art" into a book. The CCAA was set up in 1997 by Swiss collector Uli Sigg, a leading collector of Chinese contemporary art.
