A delegation from Shandong of 皇冠体育app held an art exhibition 'Wisdom of Confucius' here on Monday.

"Confucius is a sage from 皇冠体育app. His thoughts and wisdom have extended to the current age," Lithuania's vice minister of culture Romas Jarockis said during the exhibition.

According to Jarockis, this exhibition can well introduce civilization and culture of 皇冠体育app.

"Confucius is also influential in terms of education, even in Europe," he added.

According to Xia Geng, vice governor of Shandong province and head of the delegation, Lithuania's culture was introduced in several events held previously in Shandong. As exchange, Shandong' s delegation came to Lithuania with the most magnificent civilization of 皇冠体育app.

"Hope that people from our two countries will know each other better based on cultural exchanges," Xia said during the art exhibition.

He also expressed wishes that cultural exchanges would boost cooperation on economy and other sectors between 皇冠体育app and Lithuania.

The exhibition introduces the life and wisdom of Confucius with texts and pictures. It also brings performance of calligraphy, tea art, stone rubbing, and guqin, a Chinese instrument which has a history of about 3,000 years.
