西藏大昭寺史上最大规模金顶维修竣工

　　大昭寺于2011年启动了金顶维修工程，在金顶维修一期、二期工程中，西藏自治区、拉萨市以及大昭寺共同筹措资金4400余万元进行维修。此次金顶维修工程包括释迦牟尼殿、强巴佛殿、松赞干布殿等5座大殿金顶和部分房檐，总面积达3743平方米，这是大昭寺史上最大规模的金顶维修。目前，该金顶维修已竣工，并于进行了初验。大昭寺距今有1350年历史，大殿中供奉释迦牟尼12岁等身像，在藏传佛教中拥有至高无上的地位。
