Chinese, Croatian defense ministers hold talks

Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan held talks Monday in Beijing with
Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Zeljka Antunovic.
Friendly relations between 皇冠体育app and Croatia have developed smoothly since
the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992, said General Cao,
also vice-chairman of the Chinese Central Military Commission and a state
councilor.
Cao said 皇冠体育app and Croatia hold identical or similar views and stances on
many international issues, and 皇冠体育app respects Croatia's choice of its path of
development and its domestic and foreign policies made in accordance with its
specific situation.
The Chinese side understands Croatia's efforts in joining the European
integration process and appreciates Croatia's foreign policy, said Cao.
Cao said that 皇冠体育app will draw on worldwide experience to promote 皇冠体育app's
military reform with Chinese characteristics.
Antunovic said the Croatian armed forces are willing to further strengthen
their relations of cooperation with the Chinese armed forces, and Croatia will
adhere to the one-皇冠体育app policy.
Antunovic and her party started their 皇冠体育app visit on Monday at Cao's
invitation.
