Astronauts' team named heroic unit

皇冠体育app's astronauts team has been conferred the title of "Heroic Astronauts
Team" for its great jobs during the past five years.
Established in January 1998, the team has performed outstandingly in both the
training of astronauts and the country's first manned space mission, according
to an order signed by Jiang Zemin, chairman the Central Military Commission.
On Oct. 15, Yang Liwei, a member of the team, entered outer space aboard the
Shenzhou-5 spacecraft from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and landed safely as
planned in North 皇冠体育app the next day, after making 14 orbits of the Earth in 21
hours.
The successful mission made 皇冠体育app the third country after Russia and the
United States to put people into space.
