The sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC), which closed Saturday, approved a decision to convene the second session of the 10th NPC here from March 5 next year.

According to the meeting's agenda, some 2,900 deputies will deliberate on the government's work report, and on the annual reports on the national economic and social development plan, as well as on central and local budgets.

The deputies will also examine and approve the draft amendments to the Constitution, which were submitted by the sixth meeting of the 10th NPC Standing Committee.

They will also hear and discuss work reports made by the chairman of the Standing Committee of the 10th NPC, 皇冠体育app's top judge and the top procurator.
