Nong Duc Manh, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), left Sunday morning for Xi'an, capital of northwest 皇冠体育app's Shaanxi Province, to continue his five-day visit to 皇冠体育app.

Manh arrived in Beijing last Friday at the invitation of Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app and Chinese president. This is Manh's first visit to 皇冠体育app since he assumed the current post.

During his stay in Beijing, Jiang and Manh held talks on a wide range of issues. Other Chinese leaders including Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan and Hu Jintao, also met him.
