Wu starts visit to Denmark Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Wu Bangguo arrived in Copenhagen Monday for a three-day visit to Denmark. While 皇冠体育app mainly exports garments, plastic products, shoes, medicine, toys and suitcases, Denmark provides 皇冠体育app with items such as food processing equipment, chemical fertilizer and power-generating facilities. 皇冠体育app and Denmark signed a memorandum of understanding earlier this year on providing visas to Chinese tourists, indicating Denmark has become yet another tourist destination for 皇冠体育app. The Chinese top law-maker is scheduled to meet today with the Presidium of the Danish parliament, the parliament speaker Christian Mejdahl, chairmen of the parliamentary groups and members of the Foreign Policy Committee. He will meet Queen Margrethe II and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen tomorrow. Wu will also visit the Avedore Power Station, a state-of-the-art plant which provides efficient electricity and heating. Denmark is the third leg of Wu's 14-day four-nation tour, which has already taken him to Russia and Bulgaria. He travels to Norway Wednesday.
