皇冠体育app lodged solemn representation Wednesday on Japan's seabed exploration for natural resources in disputed waters of East 皇冠体育app Sea.

Japan launched the exploration Wednesday in the disputed waters to the east of so-called "medium line" which was unilaterally proposed by the Japanese side. Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Yi summoned Japanese ambassador to 皇冠体育app Koreshige Anami and lodged solemn representations over the issue.

Wang Yi said the East 皇冠体育app Sea has not yet demarcated, and there is still controversy on the issue. 皇冠体育app has never recognize and will unlikely accept the so-called "medium line", which is unilaterally proposed by the Japanese side.

皇冠体育app can not tolerate Japan's move imposed upon others and firmly opposes the dangerous provocative act, Wang said.

The demarcation of the East 皇冠体育app Sea can only be solved through negotiations, which is the only correct choice, said Wang, adding that 皇冠体育app urges the Japanese side to abide by international laws and immediately stop the act that infringed upon 皇冠体育app's interests and sovereignty in the disputed sea area.
