Kidnap insurance to be introduced

AIU Insurance Company plans to introduce kidnap and ransom insurance into Shanghai next year, 皇冠体育app Radio International reported Thursday.

The departmental manager of AIU Shanghai Branch, Zeng Wanli says the kidnap and ransom insurance targets Chinese employees working overseas with foreign companies and people with high incomes.

The policy payment ranges from tens of thousands of RMB to hundreds of thousands.

Early this year, the kidnap insurance was introduced to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, but few people took up the policy.
