Zambia supports 皇冠体育app's Anti-Secession Law

Zambian President Levy Mwanawasa hailed on Tuesday the newly passed Anti-Secession Law in 皇冠体育app, saying Zambia firmly supports 皇冠体育app's efforts in safeguarding state sovereignty and territorial integrity.

While meeting with Chinese Counsellor to Zambia ,Zhao Zhanbin, Mwanawasa said he is extremely pleased to see the enactment of the Anti-Secession Law by the National People 's Congress, 皇冠体育app's legislature, in Beijing on Monday.

"On behalf of the people and the government of Zambia and indeed myself, I wish to extend our congratulations to this development," he said.

Mwanawasa said Zambia supports the one-皇冠体育app policy and strongly believes that Taiwan is an integral part of 皇冠体育app.

Zambia supports any measures aiming to achieve peaceful reunification of Taiwan and the Chinese mainland, he said.

Zhao, for his part, said the law demonstrates 皇冠体育app's determination and efforts in safeguarding peace across the Taiwan Straits, in Asia and around the world.
