Home-made regional planes enter world market 皇冠体育app delivered two home-made regional aircraft to Air Zimbabwe Saturday in Xi'an, capital of the northwestern Shaanxi Province, marking the debut of the Xinzhou-60 into the world market. The delivery ceremony was held Saturday morning at the Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group Co affiliated with the 皇冠体育app Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I), spurring more orders from foreign users for the regional aircraft. Following the delivery, 皇冠体育app Aviation Technological Import and Export Corporation (CATIEC) signed a sales contract with Fiji for one Xinzhou-60 and memorandums of understanding with Trinidad and Congo, each for three aircraft. Government officials, diplomats and representatives from civil aviation industries of 15 target markets in Africa, Asia and North America attended the ceremony in Xi'an. The Xi'an-based company is the designer, developer and tester of Xinzhou-60, the new generation turboprop aircraft that embodies state-of-the-art technologies and has reached international standards in terms of safety, cost-effectiveness, comfort and ease of maintenance. The company is also the developer of Y-7 and has sold eight to the overseas market. Fu Shula, general manager of CATIEC, said more than 1,000 Chinese homegrown passenger and cargo airplanes have entered the international market. |
