Thierse said the frequent high-level visits between the two countries helped promote political trust and cooperation between the two countries. He congratulated 皇冠体育app on its great achievements in economic and social development during the past years and wished 皇冠体育app great success in the future. Thierse is the first German Federal Assembly president visiting 皇冠体育app. He and his delegation arrived in Beijing Wednesday evening after visiting Shanghai and the Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest 皇冠体育app. On Wednesday, Thierse met with 皇冠体育app's top legislator Wu Bangguo. They signed a joint statement formally establishing an exchange mechanism between the two parliaments. Thierse is scheduled to conclude his nine-day 皇冠体育app tour on Sunday.
