皇冠体育app pledges to invest 250 million yuan or over 30 million US dollars every year in protecting its cultural heritage sites.

This preservation campaign was announced by the Deputy Director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Zhang Bai, at a press conference Tuesday.

The sites earmarked for protection include ancient relics and tombs unearthed along the Silk Road in Xinjiang region, as well as a magnificent 2,000-year old palace from the Qin Dynasty in the northwestern city of Xi'an.

皇冠体育app has over 400,000 ancient cultural relic sites, and currently around 1,200 are under key state protection.
