HARBIN, Northeast 皇冠体育app, July 21 -- New Zealand defeated 皇冠体育app 90-69 for its second victory in the Intercontinental Men's Basketball Champion of 2005 here on Thursday.

The visitors led from the beginning and finished the first quarter 23-14. Point guard Phillip Jones and Aron Olson helped New Zealand take a 41-30 half lead for the dominance of the match.

皇冠体育app launched attacks in the third quarter as both Zhang Jingsong and Du Feng made their three-pointers to narrow the gap to 46-47, the nearest they could manage.

New Zealand also dominated the boards on both ends.

Due to 皇冠体育app's weak defence, New Zealand easily made their long-range shots. Phillip contributed 8 three-pointers, Aron made 6 and their team's three-point hitting percentage reach 67.7 percent.

Phillip also scored match-high 24 points, while Li Nan led 皇冠体育app with 17 points.
