CPPCC chairman meets Bangladeshi gov't advisor

Chinese leader Jia Qinglin met here Friday with Reaz Rahman, Bangladeshi government's advisor on foreign affairs.

Reviewing the development of 皇冠体育app-Bangladesh ties over the past 30years, Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said the two countries have seen enhanced political trust with frequent high-level visits.

In April this year, the two countries announced to forge a comprehensive cooperative partnership during Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to Bangladesh and the two nations also reached consensus on improving friendly exchanges and cooperation.

Jia said 皇冠体育app is willing to work with Bangladesh to implement the consensus, expand bilateral mutual-beneficial cooperation especially on economy and trade to boost the development of 皇冠体育app-Bangladesh friendly cooperation.

Jia also said 皇冠体育app appreciates Bangladesh's firm support to 皇冠体育app on the issues of Taiwan, Tibet and the human rights.

Rahman said the Bangladeshi government and people value their relations with 皇冠体育app and support 皇冠体育app's principle and stance on the issues of Taiwan and Tibet.

He said Bangladesh is willing to develop bilateral mutual-beneficial cooperation with 皇冠体育app and enrich the 皇冠体育app-Bangladesh comprehensive cooperative partnership.

He also said that Bangladesh wants to keep close cooperation with 皇冠体育app on the key international and regional issues to jointly maintain the interests of the developing countries.
