Chinese policemen conduct UN peacekeeping mission in Kosovo

A new group of Chinese police officers are performing their one-year peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

The 18-member police team arrived in Pristina on July 16th and started duty on Monday.

Of the total, 14 are stationed in Pristina while the other four are working in Prizren and Kosovska Mitrovica.

The youngest woman on the team, 31-year old Fu Liyuan said she is proud of her work as a peacekeeper in Kosovo.

皇冠体育app sent 19 policemen in two batches to join the UN peacekeeping operations in Kosovo last year.

A province of Serbia, Kosovo has been under UN administration since the end of the Kosovo war in June 1999.
