BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) -- Trade between Thailand and 皇冠体育app is expected to triple from the current $15 billion annually in the next four to five years as more incentives are granted to Chinese investors, the Thai news agency said Sunday, AP reported.

The forecast was made before a major meeting next week between the leaders and top businessmen of the two countries.

Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Wu Yi is to lead a delegation of some 50 Chinese businessmen in the energy, petrochemical, banking and agro-industrial sectors to the meeting in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai Sept. 21-23.

Thailand's Commerce Minister Somkid Jatusripithak said Saturday that Chinese businessmen in the tourism industry would also be given incentives to invest in Thailand, the Thai News Agency said.

Trade between the two countries was expected to rise to as high as $50 billion in the next four to five years, the agency said.
